For fans of the Batman Arkham game series, Junes news of the delay for Batman: Arkham Knight came as a heavy pill to swallow. But fans can now rejoice with the news of an official (as of now) launch date for the much anticipated Batman Arkham: Knight game.
The game was first speculated about back in March when the Batman-Arkham Twitter account posted a tweet about a possible announcement. This of course led to overwhelming excitement and when the announcement was officially made, fans had a whole new Batman game to look forward to. Fast-forward to June, when Rocksteady was forced to regrettably announce the delay in Batman: Arkham Knight’s release stating it was due to the level of detail they wanted to achieve. Now, just barely three months after that announcement, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced today that Batman: Arkham Knight is scheduled to be released on June 2, 2015. Along with the announcement of the release date, they also revealed there will be two different collectors editions – Batman: Arkham Knight Limited Edition and Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition. Both collectors editions will be launched in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand for the Playstation 4 and Xbox ONE, although limited quantities are available. Batman: Arkham Knight Limited Edition will be available in Europe, Australia and New Zealand for the PC.
