Explosions are all too common in The Expendabros
Indie game developer Free Lives took the hard hitting cast of The Expendables 3 and the action packed game Broforce and smashed them together at Mach speed, which resulted in the creation of the muscle flaring adrenalin rush that is The Expendabros. If the thought of that has you sweating uncontrollably, then the fact that it’s available as a free download until December 31, 2014 on Steam should get you snarling in a testosterone induced fit.
The game is host to a crew of seven characters who all have their own unique load-out who are based off the characters from The Expendables 3. The 10 stages are jam packed with bullets, knives, bombs and bros that will keep you on the edge of your seat and your teeth gritted. In this game, dying happens, and when it does, the announcer, who is completely aware of his own awesomeness, makes sure you are aware of it by aggressively shouting the fact for all to hear.
The story plays true to the spirit of The Expendables in the sense that it’s almost completely believable in an unbelievable way.
The Expendabros have assembled and set their sights on the forces of ruthless arms dealer Conrad Stonebanks in the forests of Eastern Europe.
