Microsoft was able to bring something cool to the table that caught my eye at their event today at Gamescom, and that was the reveal of the Free-2-Play Third Person MOBA smite which will be arriving soon to the Xbox One. With all the other cool announcement/ reveals that the people at Microsoft had put together such as Quantum Break. Smite is the first Free-2-Play MOBA to hit Xbox One which shows that the people who reach out to developers to get their games over to Microsoft’s Xbox One console are really putting in the initiative. I would not be to surprised if we get an announcement of Ghost Recon Free-2-Play for next year.
For those of you who don’t know what Smite is it is a Free-2-Play MOBA that is not in your usually top down perspective you would see in MOBA’s such as DoTa 2 or League Of Legends. Created in the Unreal engine, Smite brings a new perspective to the MOBA spectrum with a Third Person view. Making game play feel more intense and adding in a lot more action. Instead of going through the process of creating concepts and lore of 20- 100 characters. Smite takes different Gods from a vast array of myths and religions.
