EA Access Leaves Beta And Open To All Xbox One Players

by
EA Access

EA Access just came out of it’s Beta and will be released today on the Xbox One. The beta group was only tested a few weeks ago and EA Access seems to have gone well, considering the release after a few weeks. In Betas, we usually see the Beta showing some integral concerns with the game/new product for it to be fixed. However, EA Access seems to be fully clear to hit the market.

EA Access changed the gaming market by making a subscription service to a vault of it’s games. The price was $4.99 for a month, or $30 for a full year of up to four games. As calculated, you’re saving up to $210 alone just with the subscription service, which cuts the $60 video game price in half and then adds four more games.

The start up games for EA Access include Madden 25, FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, and Peggle 2. These games will be available for download under EA Access and will be available until the subscription is up. This also gives players the opportunity to try out the newest games for EA Access such as Dragon Age Inquisition and Madden NFL 15. Also, you don’t need Xbox Live Gold membership in order to own EA Access.

Xbox One users should rejoice and maybe will use this as a vantage point for their fandom, as Sony will not be taking on EA Access. They have Playstation Now, which is essentially a rental service to rent out games for a cheaper price.

I’ve discussed this before in my previous article on EA Access, but this is certainly a game changer. Not only are we going to see more competitive pricing, players are going to get more options for cheaper games right at their fingertips. GameStop is going to have a run for their money on this new downloading game craze.

What do you think of EA Access? Like it? Love it? Hate it? I’d love to know your thoughts in the comments down below!
