EA Sports has revealed that David Alaba will be the cover star for FIFA 15 in Austria.
The news was confirmed on Twitter that FC Bayern München’s 22-year-old left-back is set to feature alongside FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi on the cover for FIFA 15 in his native country.

Alaba, known for his remarkable attacking ability, became a key player for his club under former manager Jupp Heynckes, where he adapted to the role of left-back and demonstrated his capabilities at one of the most prestigious teams in the world.
Lionel Messi features on the box art for every version of FIFA 15, but he is joined by a whole host of different players according to region or country, including Tim Cahill (Australia and New Zealand), Clint Dempsey (United States and Canada), Gonzalo Higuaín (Italy) and, last but not least, Alaba’s team-mate Robert Lewandowski (Poland).
EA’s FIFA 15 is scheduled for release in late September on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, Wii and PC.
