In an unexpected turn of events, a developmental build tester on Assassin’s Creed Unity is hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit. Naturally, there have been a multitude of questions, and an equally large amount of answers.
The Reddit user’s name is AlphaNumeralBeta, a verified game tester on Assassin’s Creed Unity. What’s truly interesting is a screenshot posted by the user that reveals a number of different playable assassins, including previous game protagonists.
AlphaNumeralBeta has this to say about it:
“What you are seeing is the structured campaign level list. Each level affords a different location, such as Ireland during the Great Famine. Each level then has its own assassin for the area. The levels are wholly co-opable from the investigation, to the assassination, to the side missions/diversions. Players can either join free roam and accompany you into missions, or you can start a mission via matchmaking.”

As you can tell, some of the assassins include Altair, Aveline, and Edward Kenway, all protagonists in previous Assassin’s Creed games.
Update: The game tester’s Reddit account, and the AMA has been deleted. But there have been more leaks regarding the game. Click here for more information regarding that update.
You can view the Reddit AMA with the game tester here, which includes questions and answers regarding the parkour and fighting systems in Assassin’s Creed Unity, among others. Once again, watch out for spoilers!
One thing to consider is the reasoning behind AlphaNumeralBeta’s decision to violate his or her non-disclosure agreement, and divulge this information. With that being said, the information may or may not be accurate. This story is still in development, so this article will be updated as necessary.
