by GH Staff

So now that Google is practically shipping the now available Android Wear devices the LG G Watch, and the Samsung Gear Live. You will come down to make the conclusion which one is just the right one for you and to make that process go a little smoother. I am going to provide some details that may help you sway in the direction to find the right Smart Watch for you.

Android Wear Watches

Here’s The side-by-side comparison of the two watches

So here are the Android Wear devices on the left we have the LG G Watch and to the right the Samsung Gear Live. Now lets start with price point being you deciding factor for purchasing one of the two devices here. The LG G Watch will cost you $229 which comes in two different color variants. Black Titian and White Gold the White Gold in my opinion gives the watch a more visually appeal by being bright but still keeps a subtle appearance. The Samsung Gear Live will run for $199 and comes in one color which is Black. So obviously if you looking to stay on the cheap side an save $30 go for the Samsung Gear Live the one of the biggest things that you will miss out on when purchasing this Android Wear device instead is the interchange-able wrist bands for the watch. This is something the LG G Watch does have which can be a very important focal point which could make the extra $30 from the Samsung Gear Live worth it.

LG G Watch

Now your last decision to purchase which Android Wear devices is right for you is to see which watch design appeals to you. So when we look at both Wear devices the pure aesthetic of the devices individually are pretty bland on the outside aside from the LG G watches inter-changeable wrist band and other color variant makes both devices nothing great to look at but still okay. While you have multiple watch faces you can transition to on both of the devices the LG G Watch offers more visually appealing faces to change to. Now I have used both devices for about an hour the Android Wear devices that felt more suitable for me was the Samsung Gear Live an I’ll tell you why. The Samsung Gear Live had the best screen clarity indoors and out-doors while I’m walking about in the city. Now this is do to its Super AMOLED 320×320 display making it ideal for outdoor activity. So now that you have a bit more details on each device hopefully you may have a smoother process on getting the perfect Android Wear device for you right now. You can purchase either of the devices here.
