Vote for The Evil Within Alternate Cover Art

The much-anticipated horror game The Evil Within is creeping closer to its October launch date. In anticipation of the game’s release, Bethesda is now hosting a survey, allowing fans to vote for an alternative cover that will be the reverse sleeve when the game launches.

The last high-profile release to get a similar treatment was BioShock Infinite which offered a similar survey after some fans didn’t like the game’s original box art. For Infinite and The Evil Within, the alternate covers are much more reserved and minimalistic compared to the typical box art. They don’t feature any screenshots or explanatory text about the game.

The Evil Within comes from Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, who left the series after Resident Evil 4. Since then he’s directed God Hand and Vanquish, both games noted for their chaotic action. The Evil Within will be his return to horror.

The three cover options are called “Asylum,” “Piercing Eye,” and “Twisted”. You can check them out below and vote for your favorite at bethblog.com.

You can also email you choice to bethblog@bethsoft.com and you’ll automatically be entered into a contest to receive one of ten signed copies of The Evil Within when it ships.
