Trade in your PS3 copy of The Last of Us for a 50% discount only at GameStop

Not only is GameStop promising that they’ll be making a big announcement later today, but early today they also announced that players can trade in their PS3 copy of The Last of Us for a 50% discount of its upcoming PS4 remake, The Last of Us Remastered Edition.
When it’s released later this year The Last of Us Remastered Edition will only cost $50 but GameStop are offering to lower that price down to $25 for people who trade in their PS3 copy starting July 27th.
For those of you who are wondering if its worth trading in your PS3 copy of The Last of Us for a game you already have, Remastered comes with the main game (of course) as well as the Left Behind side story and a couple of the multiplayer map packs. Unlike the PS3 edition, Remastered also runs at 1080p and at a steady 60 frames per second.
It should also be noted that any micro transactions you did in the PS3 version will be carried over to Remastered and that Naughty Dog will be releasing more multiplayer DLC for both versions of the game.
