Its Power Is Maximum!

When it comes to repetitive gaming sequels, there is no other series that puts Call Of Duty to shame quite like the Dragon Ball franchise. Being the fifteenth installment to a story that’s been told more times than any rerun in TV history, Dragon Ball Xenoverse is actually taking a surprising redirection towards brand new story arcs taking place long after the original plot, as well as placing a heavy emphasis on innovative plot devise creation by the players themselves. Not to mention adding never before played characters and a flashy looking game play style that seems badass enough to put most other fighting games in their place.

Developed by its usual industry of Dimps Digital Innovator and set to be released in 2015 on all home consoles, with the exception of the Wii U, DBX will feature playable battles within full 3D destructible environments, free roaming throughout large and diverse landscapes, and players can fight on land, in the air, or under water at their leisure.

A character list has yet to be confirmed as far as identities go, but the game will hold a whopping variety of over 120 playable fighters as stated by the official site of everything DragonBall. In the actual adventure mode itself, players will not only have freedom to explore throughout all of Earth as it is portrayed in the DB universe, but they will also be recreating an entire history of the story that is unknown by all with their own two hands based on their in-game choices and character development.

So I guess one could consider this the ‘Skyrim’ of DragonBall, though that might be a stretch of a compliment. But for any and all true hardcore fans of this popular anime that has left its mark on most of our childhood memories, this latest installment of the franchise may actually be a breath of fresh air with something everyone can enjoy.
