The first official images of Agent 47 from the upcoming Hitman movie have been released. These stills, as well as a short glimpse of footage from the film were shown at Comic-Con San Diego today.
Although these photos give little away about the movie itself, they do allow fans to get a glimpse of how their favorite anti-hero, Agent 47, is represented.

All the iconic Hitman trademarks are present, from the solid red (no chance of annoying bloodstains) tie, to the dual Hardballer pistols, and, of course, the barcode neck tattoo.
Playing Agent 47 is Homeland star Rupert Friend. Also making an appearance is Zachary Quinto, who plays Spock in the new Star Trek films. Directing the movie will beĀ Aleksander Bach, a new and relatively unheard of name in the world of directing.

The film is set for release in Feburary of 2015, and so far there has been no mention of any connection to the ultimately disappointing Hitman film of 2007.
Hopefully closer to the release date, we’ll get some shots of our dapper assassin, doing what he does best and silently taking people out from the shadows.
