Mass Effect 4 trailer is ready, likely to be revealed at E3 2014

by GH Staff

While the chances of a Fallout 4 reveal are slim to none, we’ll be seeing Mass Effect 4 at E3 this year. If you’ve been wondering just how much we’re going to be shown, know this – at this point, it’s almost certain that we’ll be getting the game’s official name (rumored to be Mass Effect: Contact), as well as a reveal trailer, which is at this point ready. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Bioware will be using E3 2014 to promote and reveal its upcoming massive science-fiction RPG Mass Effect 4, along with other projects that include Dragon Age: Inquisition (which will most likely get a playable demo version at the event).

The trailer for the game is ready and waiting. We’ve known about a trailer since earlier this year, when Bioware teased that it was already working on a trailer for Mass Effect 4. How much of it is CGI and how much of it is actually in-game footage is anyone’s guess, but based on previous experiences with Mass Effect games, it’s likely to be purely CGI at this point. Known gaming industry member Shinobi602 recently tweeted about the matter, referring to Mass Effect 4 as Mass Effect: Content, mocking the fact that people are afraid it’s going to be Xbox One exclusive (it’s not, don’t worry, although it’s unlikely it will be supported by the Xbox 360 and PS3), and teasing about its presence at E3 2014 and its trailer.

Back in April, Yanick Roy tweeted that Mass Effect 4 was somewhere in a mid-development stage. This likely means that we won’t be seeing the game this year, but would rather be getting in late in 2015. In any case, E3 is just around the corner, and we’re positive we’ll be knowing more after the event. Get ready for a Mass Effect 4 trailer though, it’s likely coming, and we can’t wait to analyze every inch and milisecond out of it.
