Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris Coming To Next Gen
Alongside the announcement of Rise of the Tomb Raider, the sequel to the 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider, Crystal Dynamics has revealed that Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC. This game is the sequel to the 2 player co-op game: Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, a downloadable title that received great reception across the board. This time, you can play with up to 3 friends using Lara Croft herself, an archaeologist named Carter, and Horus and Isis; the son and wife of Osiris. This new game will play very similar to the previous one, as a top-down action adventure featuring puzzles, traps and platforming.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light was available through the Games With Gold program for Xbox Live a few months ago, allowing players to try out this very unique Tomb Raider experience. The Tomb Raider reboot received a PS4 and Xbox One port entitled Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, which gave a visual remaster to both the game environments and Lara Croft herself. The trailer for Rise of the Tomb Raider shows Lara in a therapy session where a doctor advises her on how to overcome her condition, a result of the traumatic experience during the first game. Rise of the Tomb Raider may yet again explore the psychological impact of Lara’s circumstances, as well as taking us further into her development as the legendary icon we now know her to be.
