A New Battlefield Hardline Beta Will be Released for the Xbox One and Possible Last Gen Platforms
Recently, Dice general manager Karl-Magnus Troedsson told OXM that the Xbox One will be getting a Battlefield Hardline beta before the official release. EA recenetly released a beta for the game at this year’s E3, but it was only for the PlayStation 4 and PC. This beta will be different then the one out currently, but there is no word on it’s release.
Karl-Magnus said,
“We will have a beta on all platforms before release, but it won’t be this beta on Xbox. It’s not going to be the same version, just to be clear.”
Battlefield Hardline is set to release on October 21, 2014. Based on this quote, it can speculated that the beta may also hit the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Whether this new beta will be exclusive has not been confirmed.
The company seemed eager at this years E3 to release the beta in order to help guide the development of the game. Hopefully the beta does that as well as clear up any multiplayer issue before the game’s release.
