Batman Arkham Knight: Joker Could Be A Big Theme

by GH Staff

The Joker may be dead and gone after the events of Batman Arkham City, but his presence still remains in Rocksteady’s newest game: Batman Arkham Knight. Those expecting him to suddenly be the Arkham Knight will be disappointed, as he truly is dead, however the new game will show us how Gotham will be like without the Joker there. Rumor has is that the Joker will appear to Batman in flashbacks, and one vivid scene where Batman sees him in a dream sequence induced by Scarecrow’s fear gas. According to Kdramastars, other rumors state that Superman will make a brief appearance in the game, as well as hints towards the existence of the Justice League. Nothing has been confirmed and we definitely need to take all this information with careful consideration. However, it’s understandable that we’ll see some aspects of the Joker in the upcoming game, since a big villain such as him was sure to leave a lasting impression on the game narrative.

Batman Arkham Knight was initially planned for a October 2014 release, but was recently pushed back to 2015. Rocksteady has revealed the first official gameplay trailer, which shows the Arkham Knight himself right at the end. The above gameplay video is from E3 2014 yesterday, where Sony announced that PS4 will have exclusive Scarecrow missions. Batman Arkham Knight is expected to release sometime in 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
