2K Sports Announces the Launch Date of WWE 2K15

WWE 2K15

Since last year’s release, 2K Sports has been discreet about WWE 2K15; as of right now, there has not been any game details, screenshots, gameplay, or even a teaser trailer. Obviously, the WWE brand releases yearly editions but with the lack of information thus far, many were wondering if the game was quietly canceled. However, this would not make sense because 2K14 was released to above average reviews and great sales.

Furthermore, why would they prevent Yuke’s from developing the popular wrestling title; Yuke’s Future Media Creators has been developing games for the wrestling conglomerate since 2000. With speculation aside, 2K Sports has finally announced their first piece of information about this year’s edition via Twitter.

Along with the first official logo, the company has announced that WWE 2K15 will be available on October 28th in North America and October 31st internationally: and the platforms will be the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360. While it is unsurprising that WWE is releasing a game this year, it is shocking that ‘little to no information’ has surfaced about the yearly title. Is this shrouded in mystery for a reason or has 2K Sports been discreet about an inferior product? Either way, I would expect to hear something in the coming months.
