E3 is a mere two months away now, and the rumor mill is heating up. NeoGAF user Rosti has stumbled upon two recently registered Sony trademarks called “Entwined” and “Kill Strain.” What those games are and who’s making them is anyone’s guess. Entwined sounds like it could be the title of a Media Molecule game, or possibly even Guerilla Games’ rumored RPG.
As for Kill Strain, it sounds like an action or horror title, and if it is indeed a horror game, it’s very possible it is being developed by Sony Bend. Last November, Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida teased Sony Bend’s game with the word “panic,” fueling speculation that the game will beĀ horror themed. If it is a horror game, it might be a perfect match for Project Morpheus.
Keep in mind, there’s no guarantee that these two games are blockbuster titles; they could be $15 PSN games, so keep your expectations in check. Expect to learn more about these games at E3, especially if they really are AAA titles. As for the rest of Sony’s E3 lineup, we know we’ll get our first real look at Uncharted PS4, and probably a lot of gameplay footage of DriveClub and The Order: 1886. And might we finally, at long last, see The Last Guardian? Time will tell.
