Possible Leak Estimates that PlayStation Will Reveal Uncharted 4 at E3 2014

by GH Staff

We don’t actually know a lot about the creation and implementation of Uncharted 4 since the initial trailer launched in early November of last year. For the most part, the construction of the game has been kept far away from the media as well as awaiting fans. Some internal shifts in the game development team also caused some concern from the gaming community, such as the shift of employment beginning to pursue other studios. Many came to believe that Uncharted 4 would require more time in order to execute, or at least demand a lot more of the studio’s efforts.  But today that looming concern has changed, as an insider source that has leaked information on PlayStation’s motives with previous success managed to get a hold of Sony’s plans to unveil Uncharted 4 at this year’s E3 conference.

As we’ve said before, the team at Naughty Dog has undergone some unforeseen trials in order to even get to this point. Tidux, whom has managed to predict Sony’s tactics before the big event,  spoke out on Twitter regarding the overwhelming possibility that new information is upon the horizon. Two more months, at the most; and there’s a good chance that we’ll be given a sliver even before E3 2014 is underway. Keep in mind that we’ve only been given the trailer shown above as an “official” release. Along with some slow motion pictures courtesy of Gamespot that appeared six days after the footage of the teaser trailer was handed to the public.

So, is it a legitimate source, and should we expect that Uncharted 4 will have some light shed upon it come E3? We hope so, considering there’s been hide nor hair of it for quite some time. Naughty Dog would not come into the global gaming event to undermine the showcase of their games following the overwhelming success that The Last of Us brought to the company as a whole.  Thus, we’d like to believe that the rumor is true and that Uncharted 4 is indeed planned to make its debut in the next few months.  After all, what better way to jump back into the fray since the loss of director director Justin Richmondwriter Amy Hennig, and actor Todd Stashwick?

We’ll keep you updated on more potential leaks alongside official press releases for Uncharted 4, so feel free to stick around!
