Infinity Ward recently posted an image on their social media sites of John ‘Soap’ MacTavish, one of the protagonists of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, along with the caption ‘A second chance is coming #CODGhosts’. You can view this image below.
This most likely points to the release of a multiplayer legend pack DLC for Call of Duty Ghosts, similar to the Captain Price and Makarov DLC packs that were previously released. The legend packs contain a multiplayer character skin, gun reticle, gun camo, playercard and player patch. Soap was a playable character in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and its sequel Modern Warfare 2, and also featured as a prominent character in Modern Warfare 3, the game in which he died. This is why the image above contains a ‘Continue’ option, similar to the screens you see in arcade games after you get a ‘game over’. If this DLC is like the others, it will be priced at $3.99 and will be available to Xbox Live first and PSN and PC later on. Call of Duty Ghosts currently has multiple character skins including a Hazmat suit, all of the Ghosts’ storyline main characters (i.e. Merrick, Keegan) and even Rorke, the antagonist of the game.
