Here’s what you’ll need to play Watch Dogs on Ultra settings

Watch Dogs is already said to have moderately high hardware requirements, a fact amplified by rumors about downgraded versions of the game on the PS4 and Xbox One. But for PC users with deep enough pockets, these concerns aren’t worth considering. The latest footage from Watch Dogs was recorded at the very best settings, on a, truth be told, impressive configuration sporting an Intel Core i7-3930K CPU with a GeForce Titan. That’s not a cheap rig, surely. But it’s probably a little bit overkill too. Regardless, you’ll need impressive hardware to get the best out of the game, and Ubisoft have released requirements to run the game at Ultra settings.

“We expect a lot of different specs to run the game at a high,” said Jonathan Morin, Creative Director via a Twitter post. “But here are the ultra specs for the few who have them and ask for it. Ultra specs: Intel Core i7-4770K with a GeForce 780.” he continued. If you’re curious to see what the game will look like with such components, have a look below. Truth be told, upgrading might just be worth it, considering how amazing the game’s light effects and shadows look. Of course, the trailer is also a not-so-hidden Nvidia commercial, but hey, at least we got some eye-candy for it. Watch Dogs will be launching on May 27 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC, with the Wii U version coming later this year.
