Ubisoft creative director, Jonathan Morin, confirms via Twitter that the Watch Dogs multiplayer will be open world, free roam, and allow for up to eight players at a time. Details for the Watch Dogs multiplayer beyond that are scarce. As far as what kinds of missions, versus multiplayer games, or leveling systems may be available, we are still in the dark on that. In related news, Morin also outlined the specs needed to run Watch Dogs on PC.

Finally, Morin explained Watch Dogs’ need for another delay on the Wii U. The version, which may or may not be delayed into 2015, needed more time because of the logistics of fitting the game inside the Wii U’s hardware. Ubisoft ultimately decided to step back and assign a separate team of staffers to concentrate on the Wii U version.
For those who may have missed it, Watch Dogs has been confirmed for a May 27 release date on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC.
