According to Titanfall’s official Twitter account and thousands of concerned gamers, players are having a lot of difficulty with the PC version of the game.
We’re hearing that some PC users may be experience longer than usual load times. We are aware and working on a solution.

Jon Shiring, a developer for Respawn, echoed these sentiments:

Users that are unable to find a lobby server are getting stuck on this screen:
The official Twitter account urges players to back out and rejoin the queue if this happens to them or to reload the game completely.
Note: I have been trying this for nearly two hours, and I haven’t been able to get past the “initializing” screen.
Many users are also reporting problems or lengthy delays on the download servers for the PC. EA and Respawn allowed players to download the extremely large game several days in advance through Origin.
Shiring indicated that Xbox One users are experiencing the same problems as PC users, as well as a problem with the Xbox Live Compute Services. He indicated that a fix is being worked on:

UPDATE: A fix has been implemented, and I was able to get in. It isn’t clear if the fix has ended the issues across both platforms, but a 2-hour delay on launch night really isn’t that bad. More updates coming.

UPDATE #2: Many Xbox One users are still having problems. Shiring urges them to contact Xbox Live Support.
UPDATE #3: Four games in and no problems. I’ve had minimal lag. One of the quickest and best launch fixes I have ever seen.
UPDATE #4 (12:27 a.m. PST): Servers seem to be up and running for both the Xbox One and the PC.
