All aboard the hype train, Bioware have dropped a trailer for the hotly anticipated Dragon Age: Inquisition. The first game, Origins, was without doubt one of the best and purest RPG experiences of the last generation. The second installment, however, famously failed to live up to expectations, disappointing both in its narrative and lack luster gameplay. Dragon Age: Inquisition then has been treated with quiet optimism since its announcement last year and as expectation begins to grow, this stunning new trailer demonstrating the game’s world should send it into the stratosphere.
Castles brood with their gloomy interiors, monsters stalk the land in grotesque detail, rolling hills are battered by the weather and animals realistically populate the world. Utilizing the Frostbite 3 engine this promises to be a graphics-monger’s dream. Given the time and care Bioware seems to be taking with the third entry to their fantasy series, lovers of epic RPGs seem to have yet another triple A title to enjoy soon.
