Titanfall won’t require Origin on Xbox One, new Beta info coming next week

Respawn have been going crazy all over twitter offering scoop about the upcoming Titanfall beta. In order to offer the best gaming experience the dev team is working hard on bringing a working anti-cheat system in the game. Although, most that had access to the alpha had a thing or two to say about the game’s visual aesthetics, Titanfall producer mentioned that the Beta will be a completely new build. Respawn’s Vince Zampella also revealed that the game won’t require an Origin account on the Xbox One.

The news about the anti-cheat comes from a tweet by Respawn Community Manager Abbie Heppe. She explained that the team have already found an anti-cheat system to integrate with their game. However, she abstained from further details saying that she won’t “specify” what they are using.

The second more important update on the game comes from Titanfall producer Drew McCoy. In a response to a fan, he stated that the Beta version won’t be just an update to the Alpha, but would rather be a whole new build.

The third update comes to us from Respawn’s Vince Zampella. In r esponse to a fan question, he stated that the game won’t require an Origin account if you are playing it on the Xbox One.
