Titanfall Beta goes Open, because of a mistake made by EA

Titanfall Beta Could Go Open

UPDATE 2: After discussions with the development team at Respawn Entertainment, Vince Zampella stated via Twitter that the Titanfall Beta will go open. According to his tweet, the Xbox One beta will go into an open stage later today followed by the PC version tomorrow.

This was also confirmed by Respawn Entertainment designer Jason McCord.

Planning to let the fans stress out the Titanfall servers at a maximum, Zampella added on Twitter that he discussed the Titanfall Open Beta suggestion with Respawn Entertainment engineer Jon Shiring.

According to Zampella’s statement on twitter, Shiring’s response was positive, meaning that a Titanfall Open Beta plan may be coming in action soon.

Being on the top of the trending charts the last few days Titanfall is one of the most anticipated titles of 2014 and everyone wants to get their hands on some beta keys. Even though many got the chance to experience the game, others found themselves searching for hours or even buying Titanfall beta key codes in order to enter.

Titanfall Beta started officially on February 14, 2014

However, it seems like most of the codes that were meant to be sent out to the public by EA were never delivered. The news comes from Respawn Entertainment co founder Vince Zampella. In his attempt to be helpful to the public and answer any question regarding the state of the game via Twitter, he stated that “a lot of codes EA sent were never delivered.”

He also added that they are considering to make the Titanfall beta open, because of the problems with the codes that were not sent out. In another tweet, Zampella said that Respawn Entertainment will be extending the beta test at least a day to make up for the server down time.
