Rockstars triples the member cap of GTA Online Crews to 1000, soon to live stream Crew Battles
Players of the infamous massively multiplayer version of Los Santos will now be able to create crews of up to 1000 people. Rockstar has more than tripled the previous member cap ceiling of 300. This update follows the recent beta version of the GTA Online Crew Head to Head play mode, that allows two crews battle out a previously set wager.
Those of you who aren’t already in a crew, should reconsider their decision, as every player that enters a crew earns additional RP/XP bonuses, which can be very valuable especially for people that are just starting out. In addition, crews are able to enjoy the notion of wearing customizable emblems, rivalries and accomplishments as well as the rank system within the Crew Hierarchy.
Moreover, Rockstar said it will focus on live streaming crew battles. Those of you who would like to be featured on a live stream can write to firstname.lastname@example.org, by mentioning “your Crew name, a link to your Crew profile page, the specific platform you would like to stream on and a reason why you should feature on the stream.”
There are also additional ways of increasing your chances of being featured in an official Rockstar crew battle live stream. For example, if you can have any additional videos from Crew battles or such that showcase your crew’s ability of being able to play in a competitive game mode, Rockstar would be more than happy to check them out.
The constant updates to GTA Online are not that surprising, as Rockstar has sold more than 32.5 million copies worldwide.
