Announced at E3 2013, The Order: 1886 is an upcoming PS4 exclusive, developed by Ready at Down and Sony Santa Monica, that offers players the chance to experience an alternate history scenario where man in Victorian-Era London use advanced technology to fight a ‘powerful and ancient foe.’
Four new screenshots of the game leaked with the launch of Sony Santa Monica’s new website, last week. Today two more were found, suggesting an upcoming teaser. The beautifully designed streets of 1886 London in combination with the story suggest that the game will be an impressive addition to the next-gen gaming library.
Although an official release date of the game hasn’t been released, Official PlayStation Magazine says that during the recent PS Vita Slim announcement, Sony UK MD Fergal Gara said that The Order 1886 will be coming ‘later in the year.’ This statement is additionally supported by a twitter conversation between Director of Technology at Sony Santa Monica and Ready At Dawn’s Andrea Pessino, during November, 2013 that suggest a fall release date.

Even though nothing is certain at the moment, a new trailer is expected to be released soon after the new leaked game screenshots. Moreover, if the rumor about The Order 1886 coming this fall is correct, it is highly probable that an announcement will be made at the annual PAX expo in April, if not sooner.
Do you find the graphics to be true next-gen? What do you think about The Order 1886?
