HTC One 2’s leaked images show major improvements

by GH Staff

The HTC One was extremely well-received last year, so it comes as no surprise that the Taiwanese manufacturer is following up with an improved model. But how does it looks? Well, some recently leaked images unveil that the brushed and curved aluminium design will make the HTC One 2 stand out once again. With the removal of the soft-touch Android keys, the manufacturer has gained valuable space and will be increasing the screen size of the new model. The soft-touch keys will be replaced by digital ones.

When looking at the back-end of the phone, it’s easy to notice a major improvement over the previous HTC One model, mainly in the form of a new camera sensor. This second sensor will greatly improve the capabilities of the HTC One 2 in terms of photography, improving focus times and metering. In addition, two LEDs will take the place of the single LED used for flash, making the HTC One 2’s camera that much better. BoomSounds Stereo speakers are expected to be included in the new phone, however, the Beast Audio credentials present on last year’s HTC One are no longer visible on the rear of the phone.

The HTC One 2 will most likely be unveiled in March, and will bring some major competition to phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S5.
