How’s the Mass Effect 4 development going? Good, it seems!

by GH Staff

Yup, we’ve all been on the edges of our seats over the last few weeks, hoping to catch a glimpse of Bioware’s Mass Effect 4. We know it’s in the making and the team at Bioware simply loves to tease with breadcrumbs on Twitter. However, there’s no doubt that they are hard at work on Mass Effect 4. In fact, some people were teasing that the delay in the Dragon Age: Inquisition devblogs was caused by the lack of time, due to the team’s schedule being completely overtaken by the upcoming sequel to the Mass Effect trilogy. Is a new Mass Effect galaxy in the works for Mass Effect 4? Seems to be the case, according to some light-hearted and humorous exchanges going on between Bioware fans, employees and community managers.

In other related news, it seems hardcore gamers aren’t the only ones to be interested in Mass Effect 4 and the series in general. Popular British BBC TV Show Top Gear has recently featured music from the Mass Effect series in a presentation for the new Alpha Romeo Disco Volante. Bioware GM Aaryn Flynn himself took notice, and shed a virtual tear because of the honor. Well, chances are Mass Effect 4 will feature multiplayer, so who knows, you might even team up with Jeremy Clarkson himself to shoot James May full of holes! Who needs Shepard when you have Clarkson by your side, right?

All jokes aside, Mass Effect 4 is most likely coming along nicely. Things are kept under wraps for obvious reasons, mainly because Bioware will likely use the free publicity and marketing advantages of E3. That’s when the game will most likely be revealed fully, so we still have a few months to wait for any solid information. We do know that work on a CGI trailer has already begun (probably completed by now), so sooner or later, we’ll get to see what direction the franchise will go once Mass Effect 4 lands.
