Nosgoth – New trailer revealed

There isn’t too much hype surrounding Square Enix’s upcoming free to play multiplayer game, Nosgoth, but I still felt like it deserves some attention. After all, it’s a spin-off of Legacy of Kain, and I sure miss both Kain and Raziel.

Square Enix has released a new trailer for the game, and it looks pretty darn good. You’ll get to play as either a vampire or a human, and you’ll be ripping your enemies to shreds with a large array of weapons and abilities. Humans will be ranged classes while vampires will be more up-close and personal (go figure).

The graphics are not mind-blowing, but they are not unpleasant to the eye either. And the player versus player combat promises to be a lot of fun.

Nosgoth plays from a 3rd person perspective. You gain experience, get to customize your character, and get to engage in some highly-mobile battles. There are several classes to choose from, and the variety of weapons and abilities makes for interesting combinations. Check out the trailer below:

If you’re interested, you can register for a closed beta on the official Nosgoth website here.

Do you create a character that you keep and gear up over a long period of time, similar to MMOs, or do you chose a character at the start of each game like in MOBAs?

      It’s a mmotps game.
