Minecraft passes astonishing sales milestones
The popular and addictive block-builder has reached some impressive milestones. According to Microsoft sales data, the game has surpassed 13 million sales on PC and 10 million sales on Xbox. When we’ve last taken a glimpse of how well Minecraft was doing in terms of sales, we were back in September and the game had sold over 33 million copies world-wide, on all platforms combined.
Since then, another 1 million copies were sold for the PC. As far as the Xbox version is concerned, it has reached 10 million in just a year and a half. And the successful career of the game doesn’t seem to be stopping here. Along with the mobile versions of the game, we are expecting the game to hit the Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and PS Vita platforms next year, as well as the new Xbox One console.
