Revengeance might not be the Metal Gear Solid based and sneaking and Solid Snake, but it’s still a very good game that brings a new approach to the series. And starting with the 9th of January 2014, the game can be played on the PC too.
Revengeance (typing that somehow always seems odd) is an action-based sword-fighting 3rd person combat game, filled with dynamic action, button smashing and a fair amount of gore. While it has been designed as a console game, Konami is promising a quality port to the PC, and is setting a very accessible price over Steam. The game will be available for the next 48 hours for $19.99 (during the Steam sale period), and will cost $29.99 fully priced.
The bundle on Steam also includes all previously launched console DLCs, mainly the VR missions, Jetstream and Bladewolf. Which, given the accessible price of the game, is not bad at all. Metal Gear Solid: Revengeance has received mostly favorable and positive reviews on consoles, so there’s really no reason why you shouldn’t give it a go.
