New details on PS4 exclusive Deep Down have surfaced

New interesting details about the free-to-play PlayStation 4 exclusive Deep Down have surfaced. The information was featured in the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Famitsu, later to be translated by DualShokers.

The game, built on the Capcom’s new Panta Rhei engine, will be set in the futuristic 2094. Starting in New York with a member of the Ravens, who has the ability to read residual thoughts from items is called to investigate ruins in the Czech Republic, where a mysterious city and proof of an ancient civilization can be found.

One of the most interesting updates about the PS4 exclusive Deep Down is that dungeons in the game will exist in a shared-world. When players explore a dungeon they will be able to encounter virtual corpses of players (real-world ones) who have already passed before them. What’s more is that they will be able to loot them for equipment.

Another new detail is that these dungeons will be build around emotions. Players will be able to upgrade their armor and weapons via said emotions, but it is yet unclear on how exactly that will happen. Two-handed weapons, including Greatswords will also be available in the game.
