Lego Marvel Super Heroes Review
EGO Marvel Super Heroes is an action adventure video game released by Warner Bros. on October, 25, 2013. The game is available for all the main gaming platforms including PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

If have liked and got amused by all Lego related video games released before (Lego Star Wars, Lego Batman, Lego Lord of the Rings, etc. ..), you will surely be delighted by the new game that features some of the most important and popular super-heroes from the Marvel Universe such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, The Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, and many others.

With more than 100 characters that can be unlocked, Lego Marvel Super Heroes is and action-packed video game with a gameplay that also includes the puzzle solving quests and the humor specific to the previous games from the series, Lego Batman and Lego The Lord of the Rings. Thus, Lego Marvel Super Heroes offers an original storyline that develops around Nick Fury, the main character which enlists the aid of Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other Marvel heroes to save the Earth from the imminent threats of some of the most well known villains like Loki or Galactus.

“Fans of both Lego and Marvel have wanted this game for years, and we’re addressing that demand with more Marvel Universe characters than ever in a console game,” said TQ Jefferson, vice president of games production for Marvel Entertainment. “If you’re a fan of Spider-Man, the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy or scores of other Marvel characters, this is the game for you,” he continued.

In the beginning, you’ll get to control Iron Man and Hulk. The main mission is to stop Sandman from terrorizing Lego Manhattan. As the story develops, you will discover that all missions from the game are quite exciting. All missions take place in fabulous and popular locations specific to the Marvel Universe such as StarkTower, Asgard and X-Mansion. Moreover, if you replay them in free mode with other characters, you can unlock hidden areas filled with interesting goodies.

You’ll also have to be able to solve puzzles that involve specific character abilities. In order to do this, you’ll have to constantly switch through the heroes available in the game. However, neither the puzzles nor the action packed gameplay are what will determine the fans of the Marvel Universe to buy LEGO marvel Super Heroes. The main reason will be the incredible cast of characters available during game play. One hundred heroes is not a small number and we are more than sure that this myriad of choices will render the game impossible to get boring even after a few days of intensive play.

Of course, there are issues and technical problems as well like the small frame rate on some gaming devices and the bad AI that renders your team mates to get stuck in the environment sometimes, requiring a restart. These are small and minor problems however, issues that I am more than sure will pass unnoticed for the majority of the fans. After all, Lego Marvel Super Heroes is a video game that has many more positive aspects and that is why, I think it is worth trying, even you are an adult. The game is able to deliver countless hours of fan and an excellent gaming experience.

Are you Marvel fans? What do you think about Lego Marvel Super Heroes?
