Kinect working better than ever?

Since the release of the Kinect for the Xbox 360 there has been quite a lot of controversy over how helpful it really is and in what ways it should be upgraded. However the Kinect 2.0 for the Xbox One is more than perfect and users should not be complaining about it, before they learn how to use it.

Yes, working with this experimental technology can seem a bit frustrating if you are using it for the first time and it requires time to get used to it; however, it is incredible in its sense and really does help the user with their next-gen console experience.

A total futuristic experience, if you learn how to talk to your Xbox One via the Kinect you will be able to command your console without ever having to take the controller in your hand. You are able to play the TV show you want, put the right app on or even find something in the menu, which you had difficulty locating, with only one phrase.

The Xbox One Kinect 2.0 works smoothly and more quickly than its predecessor. Usually, the main problem comes with the difference between common language and the command you must use. The Xbox One after all is a machine and the AI is not strong enough to understand your every work, like your friend would. For example let’s take the game Ryse: Son of Rome; if you simple go and say ‘Xbox, go to Ryse,’ the console won’t understand you, as this is not the full name of the game, and the console won’t find any application or game, simply called ‘Ryse’; this is why you must say the whole name of the game, thus the correct command for this action being ‘Xbox, go to Ryse: Son of Rome’.

Little things in the voice command options and differences between common language and the Xbox One Kinect 2.0 commands are the main reason people are not fond of the Kinect. That being said, if you want to take full control of your console via the Kinect, you may have a bit of a hard time getting used to and learning all the commands and gestures, it may frustrate you at times; however it is definitely worth it. Moreover, it doesn’t take such a long time.

The Kinect 2.0 device adds a great value to the console. As it comes pre-packed with the Xbox One, learning how to use it is a must and definitely brings you ease in the long term. When you get your new console, take the time and set up your Kinect device just right for you to be able to fully enjoy the immersive experience, which the console offers. Don’t be one of those people, who try to shout a command or two and when they don’t succeed to start spamming the web that the device is not worth it, when the problem is not with the Kinect device, but with you. Take the time to set it up, learn to use it and simply enjoy your new console.

Kinect 2.0 is more about voice recognition than anything else and having to repeat yourself over and over again doesn’t seem like they improved on the tech much.
