Despite errors and glitches experienced by players while playing Grand Theft Auto 5, this game is still available for multiplayer in its cloud gaming version. Most common errors include:
- Loss of characters, items and progress
- Unavailability of cloud servers
- Errors while missions are loading
- Mission fail errors
- Time out errors
- Failure in hosting an online session of GTA
- Too much time required for matchmaking load screens
CloudPro stated that while launching online multiplayer functionality in Grand Auto Theft 5, there was huge demand of cloud servers. This demand was so enormous that the developers of GTA 5 failed to make proper plans required for handling errors which are now experienced by players.
Apart from server’s unavailability, the problems of error messages are also common. Most of the players complain about race failure messages during first race and time out or mission failure errors. These errors come up when a player uses in-game smart phone. Message that arises with these errors is about failure in loading Rockstar’s social club album.
Though, publisher of GTA 5 cloud gaming version did warn players for all the above mentioned issues way before launching its online version but still Rockstar is unable to handle pressure of online players on servers because of GTA 5’s high sales volume.
A spokesman from Rockstar also said that they were planning to add and buy more cloud servers but one thing is clear that Rockstar has completely failed in managing GTA 5 errors which depicts their lack of foresight.
