Command & Conquer 4 Announced by EA

Command and Conquer 4 is the final in the 15 year old popular trilogy released by Electronic Arts and promises to be the best one yet. The war between the two factions, Global Defence Initiative and The Brotherhood of Nod will once again rage on in epic battles, but EA promises that there will be a lot of enhancements and new choices for the player. Designer Samuel Bass gave insight into some of the questions surrounding game, such as the actor who provides the voice for Kane will continue in C & C 4 and may also appear in other games after this. According to Bass, Command and Conquer 4 is “finally taking the story arc that began with Tiberian Dawn to its dramatic conclusion.” The mysterious references to “Kane’s plan” and “ascension” will ultimately be revealed in this final chapter of the story. The new game is divided into three separate classes, according to Bass, that can play in tandem with each other but are also designed to be effective at defending against the enemy standing alone. The classes are divided between “offence class” that are primarily concerned with frontline battle, “defence class” that build bunkers, and develop a strong defence system, and then the “support class” that uses different types of vehicles to dispatch for support by ground or air. While there is no official release date for C & C 4, rumours swarm that it could be sooner than anyone thinks and well worth the wait.
